Gemini 4 Planned Spacewalk: June 3rd 1965

Gemini-Titan on the launchpad Gemini 4 stands at the launchpad on top of it's titan II missile, if all goes well America will match the soviet's achievement of a spacewalk on June 3rd 1965. The EVA will be broadcasted on television live all over the country. The astronauts will then return home 4 days later.

Saturn 1B Apollo Modifications Progressing

Saturn 1b getting stacked in the VAB The testing on the Apollo Saturn 1B booster is well underway, it is continuously surpassing expectations on all tests. The booster and the apollo capsule are slated to be ready sometime in late 1967.

F1 Engine Explodes During Test

F1 engine static fire test The F1 Engine has exploded on the testing structure causing massive damage to the test site and shattering windows of nearby businesses. Engineers claim the explosion is caused by combustion instability ripping apart the turbopump assembly and bell nozzle. The engineers are hard at work to develop a solution, however, this does put the Saturn V behind schedule.
